TRAINING ON FARM CERTIFICATION ACCORDING TO GLOBAG.A.P. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD WILL BE HELD IN VINNYTSA
The ITC project “Linking Ukrainian SMEs in the Fruit and Vegetable Sector to Global and Domestic Markets and Value Chains” and the Vinnitsa Chamber of Commerce and Industry are inviting Ukrainian producers of fresh fruits and vegetables to the training on the implementation of GlobalG.A.P. international standard.
The training program will include a theoretical and a practical part. During the first day, on December 7, the participants will learn about the basic principles and components of the GlobalG.A.P. standard, objectives for fresh producers on GlobalG.A.P. requirements satisfaction, and the procedure for obtaining a certificate.
The next day, on December 8, a visit has been planned to ORGANIC-D LLC that passed the GlobalG.A.P. certification with the support of the ITC project in 2020. During the visit, participants will be able to get acquainted with the facilities prepared and organized in accordance with the requirements of the standard and to talk to the staff of ORGANIC-D.
The main tasks of the training are as follows:
- – present the system of rules and principles of the GlobalG.A.P. standard
- – explain the main tasks of certification for producers of fresh produce
- – explain how and why they should certify their production, what benefits can be obtained through
such a certificate
- – acquaint the participants with the objects prepared and organized in accordance with the
requirements of the GlobalG.A.P. standard
The training will be held by Nina Dmytrash, ITC National Consultant on GlobalG.A.P. certification, who has extensive experience in consulting Ukrainian companies.
