The ITC project organizes a study visit to Sweden for Ukrainian entrepreneurs

The ITC Project in Ukraine together with the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine is organizing a study visit to Sweden on November 10-15, 2019.

The participants will visit two Swedish cities – Stockholm and Malmo. Here they will get acquainted with public authorities; organic producers and enterprises that work on the principles of sustainable agricultural development and apply innovative approaches and technologies in their production activities; share experiences and discuss collaboration.

The representatives of Ukrainian production and processing enterprises of the fruit and vegetable sector are invited to participate in the visit. 1 representative from the company from the regions where the ITC Project is working: Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Zaporizhya, Dnipropetrovsk and Vinnytsia regions.

The visit program includes a number of activities:

  • Information event organized by the Swedish National Board of Trade and the Sweden – Open Trade Gate platform at http://www.opentradegate.se in Stockholm.
  • Government experts, whose activities are aimed at supporting trade development and informing exporters from developing countries about the laws and requirements of Sweden and the EU, will cover the following topics:

Overview of the Swedish food market

Major customer groups

Marketing tips and tricks

General requirements for product certification

Business communication culture in Sweden.

  • B2B meetings with representatives of Swedish retailers and importers according to the profile of participants’ activities.
    Tasting of products of Ukrainian companies in Stockholm.
  • Attending the Nordic Organic Food Fair Organic Food and Beverage Exhibition, nordicorganicexpo.com (Malmo, November 13-14, 2019)
  • Visits to Swedish businesses whose profile will be determined based on the wishes of the mission members.
