Ukrainian fruit and vegetable producers presented their products in Poland

From the 25th till the 28th of September in Poznan, the annual international exhibition POLAGRA was held. This year, thanks to the support of the International Trade Center (ITC) and the Embassy of Sweden, representatives of the fruit and vegetable sector of the southern Ukraine take part in the tradeshow.

Eight companies from Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions went to Poland (“Vladam”, “Euroservicegroup”, “Victoria”, “Gorih Prychornomorya”, and others).

Preparing for the POLAGRA, ITC national consultants helped to arrange a collective exhibition stand for Ukrainian producers of vegetables and fruits, and also prepared marketing materials for each company: booklets, business card etc.

Within three days Ukrainian producers exchanged experience with representatives of many countries, talked about their enterprises, provided their products for tasting. They say the visit to the POLAGRA was useful for the further development of their business.

“The company “Vladam” took part in the POLAGRA for the first time and presented there canned vegetables and juices made from vegetables grown in their own fields, – says director of the “Vladam” Sergiy Senyuk. – We noted the high level of organization of the entire tradeshow process: the placement of pavilions, the convenience of equipment stands, atmosphere and information content. Everything was convenient and affordable. During the exhibition, we were able to not only tell the visitors about the benefits of our products but also give these products for tasting. And this is the best way to appreciate the quality and taste that is our priority during production”.

“We noted the great interest from visitors and approvals during the tasting. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the ITC’s highly professional team, and especially to our consultant Vladislav Faleyev for all-around assistance during the preparation for the exhibition and in the period of its implementation,” adds Sergiy Senyuk.

“We presented honey with the addition of walnut, hazelnuts or sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. It is still difficult to evaluate the result of the exhibition, but we understood how the honey market works in Poland and Europe. We also received contacts from interested companies from Uzbekistan, Iran, Lithuania and Poland. They have responded positively to our products. Now we are sharing wishes and terms of delivery, product characteristics, etc. I’d like to note that all organizational issues of participation in the tradeshow were excellent: from the support for the issuance of visas to help with the ordering of hotels,” said the head of the agricultural cooperative “Gorih Prychornomorya” Pavlo Tulba.

This food expo allows its participants to have a look at what food producers and distributors have to offer. Every year the event is visited by several dozen thousand professionals of food business who come to Poznan from around the world in search of the latest products, inspiration, and, most of all, looking to start long-lasting contracts. On top of that, the exhibition is an important event for all people trying to develop their export potential.
