ITC experts discussed the work plan for 2018
On October 12-13, the experts of the International Trade Center held a several meetings with representatives of the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine, which supports the project “Linking Ukrainian SMEs in the Fruits and Vegetables Sector to Global and Domestic Markets and Value Chains”, as well as a meeting with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine with the head of Export Promotion Office Maryana Kaganjak.
During a meeting with representatives of the Swedish embassy, National Project Manager of the International Trade Center Olena Kolomoytseva, ITC national consultants Alexei Yerokhin and Vladislav Faleev, ITC program coordinator Armen Zargaryan and Head of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia International Trade Center Olena Butrimova discussed the work plan for the next year.
In particular, in 2018, participation in several international exhibitions is planned:
– Fruit Logistica (to be held on February 7-9 in Berlin);
– Gulfood (February 18-22, Dubai);
– Polagra (May 8-10, Poznan);
– Sial (October 21-25, Paris).
In 2018, ITC experts will also continue to organize and conduct trainings for Ukrainian producers of the fruit and vegetable sector regarding the requirements of international markets.
ITC consultants will continue to conduct trainings for Ukrainian farms for certification according to Global G.A.P. and HACCP.
In the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, ITC experts met with Deputy Minister Natalia Mykolska and Head of the Export Promotion Office Maryana Kaganjak. The meeting was devoted to the supporting of Ukrainian exporters of fruits and vegetables at the state level.
Meetings with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Timur Khalilov, Katerina Rigg, Nadejda Mustea and Vasyl Goverga were also dedicated to the support of Ukrainian producers of vegetables and fruits.
ITC experts discussed the support of Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises by lending programs from the EBRD and cooperation with the Business Support Centers established by the EBRD in 15 regions of Ukraine.
