Raising awareness of the export opportunities for walnut and hazelnut producers

The ITC Project in Ukraine, in common with the Ukrainian Walnut Association, will hold a workshop for entrepreneurs engaged in the nut industry “Raising awareness of the export opportunities for walnut and hazelnut producers”.

The workshop will take place on July 19 during the AGROPORT Forum, at the International airport of Kherson. Hall number 3. The beginning – at 9:00 a. m.

The workshop will be conducted by James Fitzpatrick, an expert on edible nuts and other food ingredients (edible seeds, oilseeds, dried fruits, spices and natural ingredients).

The main purpose is to become a kind of “master-class” for Ukrainian producers of walnut and hazelnut, considering the possibility of exporting products.

The event will allow them to get answers to the questions:

  • How does the world market for edible nuts work?
  • What value-added products are of interest to foreign buyers? Where and how to find them?
  • What certificates are needed and how to get them?
  • Which marketing strategy to choose?
  • How to build long-term partnerships?
