ITC partners learned about the EBRD programs

A meeting of entrepreneurs of the fruit and vegetable industry with representatives of the Odesa branch of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development took place at the International Trade Center office in Kherson.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the EBRD Julia Itigina and Denis Torhov, partners of the ITC project in the region.

During the meeting, Julia Itigina and Denis Torhov spoke about the possibilities of financing and consulting areas for SME supported by the EU4Business program provided by the EBRD experts within the framework of this initiative.

The EBRD has developed a program that allows experienced consultants to be involved in identifying the needs and development of SMEs. After working with external consultants, the owners of the organizations have the tools, skills and knowledge needed to increase their internal efficiency and active development. These consulting projects and grants in the amount of 50% of the net value (excluding VAT) are directed.

BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS WHICH MAY GET A GRANT TO A CONSULTING PROJECT

– more than 2 years in the market

– more than 50% of the company belongs to Ukrainian citizens

– from 10 to 250 employees in the company’s staff

– the potential for development

– a good business reputation of owners

– the need to engage a consultant (first of all, on new directions for the company)

DIRECTIONS OF THE CONSULTING PROJECT

  • information technologies (IT infrastructure, information systems development, corporate portals, CRM, automation of financial accounting)
  • quality systems (preparation for ISO certification, HACCP, etc.)
  • strategy (strategic, financial, business planning, feasibility study, fea, business partner search)
  • export consulting (assessment of company and product readiness for export, foreign market research, strategy of entering new markets),
  • marketing (market research, marketing strategy, sales management, branding, PR, e-marketing)
  • organizational counseling (selection of optimal organizational structure, personnel management)
  • operational efficiency (optimization of business processes and logistics solutions, management of the supply chain)
  • engineering solutions (optimization of production equipment, architectural planning and design, planning and design of infrastructure and utilities)
  • energy efficiency (energy audits, energy management systems, renewable energy, energy efficiency solutions)
