Saperavi

The Saperavi farm enterprise was founded in 2002. At first, grapes were grown here, and now the main products are berries. These are strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and cherries.

Director of the enterprise Yevgen Zhdaniuk says that in recent times they prefer strawberries yielding up to 6 months a year.

Export potential of the Saperavi is growing. Mainly they export early berries to the Republic of Belarus. On the European market products of Saperavi gets through traders.

Thanks to the cooperation with the ITC Project in Ukraine, the Saperavi moves to direct export to foreign markets.

In 2017, the enterprise launched a capacity for shock-freezing of berries. The IceBerry brand was created and developed marketing materials. In cooperation with ITC consultants, the representatives of the farm visited international trade shows in Poland, Germany, and UAE.
