The ITС consultants trained for the Export Support Center in Odesa

The Export Support Center in Odesa invited National Project Manager of the ITC Project in Ukraine Alyona Kolomoytseva, and the National Project Consultant Olexiy Yerokhin for conducting training on ITC market analyzing tools.

The purpose of the training was to demonstrate experts of the Export Support Center with the primary tools for the analysis of the markets of the International Trade Center (Trade Map, Market Access Map, Sustainability Map, Export Potential Map) and to train participants to apply them in practice and analyze the data obtained with these tools.

Trade Map is a free access to world trade data (on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis) by country, product and service, to the most detailed level.

Market Access Map provides information on customs tariffs, regulations, non-tariff measures, rules of origin and trade remedies applied by most countries.

Sustainability Map provides access to a wide range of information related to sustainable development initiatives, with standards and trends that will enable enterprises to apply best practices in sustainable development in international trade.

Export Potential Map is a free tool that turns economic analysis into practical trade information using the ITC export potential and diversification assessment. This tool helps countries determine their own untapped export potential and opportunities for diversifying exports.

According to Alyona Kolomoytseva, such trainings are provided by ITC consultants to increase the capacity of consulting centers, associations, chambers of commerce and industry and other agencies that support business development in Ukraine.

Project consultants are ready to share information on production certification standards, access to world markets and their development trends, product requirements, and other information that help entrepreneurs to link in global value chains.
